The Short Version

Friendly Bible collects nothing. No accounts, no logins, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising IDs, no crash reporting, no telemetry. Nothing about you or your device is sent anywhere.

Data We Collect

None. The app does not gather personal information, usage data, device identifiers, or any other information from you or your device.

Your Notes and Reading Place

Notes you write and your place in the Bible are stored only on your device. They are included in your device backups, but they are never sent to us or to anyone else. You can export your notes at any time from the Notes screen. If you delete the app, they are removed with it.

Plain English

Plain English uses Apple Intelligence, which runs on your device. The verses you select are processed on your device and are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Content

The King James Version, Geneva Bible, American Standard Version, and World English Bible are in the public domain and are bundled with the app. Reading and searching them requires no internet connection and sends no requests anywhere.

Links

The About screen links to the sources of the Bible texts. Tapping one opens that website in your browser, where that site's own privacy policy applies.

Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children

Because Friendly Bible collects no information from anyone, it collects no information from children either.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
