Getting started

• Tap a book, then a chapter, to start reading.
• Type a reference such as “John 3:16” or “Psalm 23” into the search field to jump straight to it, or type any words to search all 66 books.
• Tap the translation button (KJV) in a chapter to switch between the King James Version, Geneva Bible, American Standard Version, and World English Bible. You stay on the same verse.

Plain English

Select verse text, then tap Plain English in the menu that appears. It rewrites the old wording in modern English.

• It needs a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings.
• It is offered for the KJV, Geneva, and ASV. The World English Bible is already in modern English, so it isn’t offered there.
• If it doesn’t appear, check that Apple Intelligence is on and has finished downloading.

Notes

Select verse text and tap Note. All your notes are listed on the Notes screen, where you can search them or export them as a single document.

Notes are stored on this device only. They don’t sync between devices yet, so export them if you’re moving to a new phone and not restoring from a backup.
